4. Accounts and Subscriptions

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. LocalForesight does not provide refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law.

Nothing on the LocalForesight platform constitutes legal, financial, investment, or professional advice. The Service is for informational purposes only. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on information obtained from LocalForesight.

5.3 Intellectual Property

All original content, compilations, formatting, and platform features created by LocalForesight are the exclusive property of LocalForesight and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Underlying government records remain in the public domain.

5.4 User-Submitted Content

If you submit any content to LocalForesight (such as feedback, corrections, or comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to improve and operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOCALFORESIGHT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

In no event shall LocalForesight's total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to LocalForesight in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LocalForesight with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. LocalForesight may assign these Terms without restriction.
